- Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
- The peptide is homologous in rat and human.
- Specificity: MANF.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is localized in the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi, and is also secreted. Reducing expression of this gene increases susceptibility to ER stress-induced death and promotes cell proliferation. Initially thought to contain an arginine-rich region, later evidence indicates a smaller open reading frame. Polymorphisms previously associated with tumors were later found in normal tissues and are not tumor-related.
