Target Information
EFHA1는 미토콘드리아 칼슘 유니포터(MCU)의 주요 조절 인자로, 세포질 칼슘 농도가 낮을 때 MCU를 제한하는 역할을 합니다.
MICU1과 MICU2는 이황화 결합된 헤테로다이머를 형성하여 칼슘 농도에 따라 MCU 활성을 조절합니다.
MICU2는 EF-hand 도메인을 통해 칼슘 수준을 감지하며, 안정 시 칼슘에서 채널 개방을 방지하여 에너지 소모와 세포 사멸을 억제합니다.
