Target Information
The Vasoactive Intestinal Polypeptide Receptor 2 (VPAC2) is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor family that mediates VIP (vasoactive intestinal peptide) and PACAP (pituitary adenylate cyclase activating peptide) functions across various tissues. VPAC1 and VPAC2 together form a subtype of VIP receptors. Expression of VIP and PACAP receptors has been associated with the presence of human tumors.
