Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The XRCC6BP1 gene is amplified in glioblastomas and interacts with the DNA-binding subunit of DNA-dependent protein kinase, which plays a role in double-strand break (DSB) repair. Higher expression enhances DSB repair efficiency. Ortholog comparisons suggest this protein functions as a metalloprotease involved in mitochondrial ATPase biosynthesis. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
