This antibody has specificity for Human RNF11.
Target Information
RNF11 is an essential component of a ubiquitin-editing protein complex comprising TNFAIP3, ITCH, and TAX1BP1, which regulates inflammatory signaling pathways.
It promotes TNFAIP3 association with RIPK1 after TNF stimulation, enabling TNFAIP3 to deubiquitinate Lys-63 polyubiquitin chains and form Lys-48 polyubiquitin chains, leading to RIPK1 proteasomal degradation and termination of TNF- or LPS-mediated NF-κB activation.
RNF11 also recruits STAMBP to the E3 ubiquitin-ligase SMURF2 for ubiquitination, resulting in its degradation by the 26S proteasome.
