This product is a software upgrade package. It includes a 3500/3500xL Data Collection Software upgrade CD for upgrade from v2 or V3 to v3.1, 1 licensing kit with single license code, and 1 user document CD.

Data Collection Software v3.1 provides the features and functionality that researchers have been requesting to take their research even further. Powered by the Windows™ 7 operating system, our newest and most powerful data collection software provides:

• The removal of on-instrument hard stops of consumables, yielding increased flexibility and control
• New run modules for Sequencing and Fragment Analysis with the 36-cm array for faster run times and increased flexibility
• An improved user interface with added functionality such as customizable filters and user objects
• Performance check flexibility with your polymer of choice to help improve cost savings and efficiencies
• Updated user interface to recognize new polymer size offering (96-sample pouch) and shelf-life extension of the on-deck consumables (polymers, ABC and CBC buffers)
• A usage statistic report for greater visibility into consumable management and expenses

Additional features include:

• Accuracy—a comprehensive dashboard delivers regular updates of instrument status and remaining days of onboard consumables
