Target Information
SGMS2는 인지질 콜린포스포트랜스퍼라아제로서 phosphatidylcholine (PC)과 ceramide를 sphingomyelin (SM) 및 diacylglycerol (DAG)로 전환하는 양방향 효소입니다. 반응 방향은 DAG와 ceramide의 상대 농도에 따라 달라지며, 기질의 콜린 머리 그룹을 직접 인식합니다. 두 개의 지방 사슬을 가진 choline-P donor 분자만 효율적으로 인식합니다. SM 합성 효소로만 작용하지 않을 수 있으며, D609에 의해 억제됩니다. 골지체(Golgi apparatus) 및 골지막(Golgi membrane)에 위치한 다중 통과 막 단백질로, 뇌, 심장, 신장, 간, 근육, 위 등에서 발현될 가능성이 있습니다.
