For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

SOCS (Suppressor of Cytokine Signaling) family proteins negatively regulate cytokine receptor signaling.
There are eight members: SOCS1–7 and CIS. Each contains an N-terminal variable region, a central SH2 domain, and a C-terminal SOCS box motif.
SOCS proteins form a negative feedback loop controlling cytokine signal transduction via STAT-induced transcription.
Transcription of SOCS genes occurs rapidly in response to cytokines, and each member inhibits signaling through distinct mechanisms.
