Target Information
Syndecans는 세포-세포외기질 부착 및 성장인자 결합에 관여하는 type I 막 단백질 프로테오글리칸입니다. Syndecan 1은 Collagen, Fibronectin, Thrombospondin과 결합하는 매트릭스 수용체로 작용하며, Syndecan 1과 3은 배아 발생에 관여하는 성장/분화 인자인 midkine(MK)과 상호작용합니다. Syndecan 2는 상피-간엽 경계 등 형태발생 활성이 높은 부위에서 높게 발현됩니다. Syndecan 4는 세포 확산 및 focal adhesion 형성 과정에서 integrin과 협력적으로 작용합니다.
