Target Information
RBP4는 리포칼린(lipocalin) 계열 단백질로, 혈액 내에서 레티놀(retinol)의 운반체 역할을 합니다. 간의 저장소에서 말초 조직으로 비타민 A를 전달하며, 혈장에서 transthyretin과 결합하여 신장을 통한 여과 손실을 방지합니다. 비타민 A 결핍 시 결합 단백질의 분비가 저해되어 표피 세포로의 공급이 감소합니다.
