Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The BAG6 gene is located within the human major histocompatibility complex class III region. It encodes a nuclear protein cleaved by caspase 3 and involved in apoptosis regulation. BAG6 interacts with E1A binding protein p300 and is essential for p53 acetylation in response to DNA damage. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
