Product Specific Information

This 2F1 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Killer cell Lectin-like Receptor G1 (KLRG1), also known as Mast cell Function-associated Antigen (MAFA).
KLRG1 is a homodimer of glycosylated 30–38 kDa subunits containing a cytoplasmic ITIM motif. It is expressed on approximately one-third of mouse NK cells and a subset of T cells.

Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes at ≤1.0 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell number may vary (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Optimize titration for best performance.

Super Bright 780 is a tandem dye excited by the violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 780 nm. Recommended bandpass filter: 780/60. Ensure instrument compatibility.

When using multiple Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific interactions.

Compensation values may differ when using UltraComp eBeads microspheres ([Product # 01-2222-42]) or AbC Total Antibody Compensation beads ([Product # A10497]). Set compensation with cells when necessary.

Light sensitivity: Protect vial and stained samples from light.
Fixation: Samples can be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using IC Fixation Buffer ([Product # 00-8222]) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution ([Product # 00-5333]).

Target Information

KLRG1 (Killer cell lectin-like receptor G1, MAFA, 2F1-Ag) is a homodimeric receptor with ITIM motifs that interact with SH2 domains of phosphatases such as SHP-1.
It is expressed on NK cells and certain T cells, playing an inhibitory role in immune responses against tumor and virus-infected cells.
