Mouse anti-Bovine MHC class II DQ antibody, clone CC158, recognizes Bovine MHC Class II DQ.
MHC Class II molecules are constitutively expressed on antigen-presenting cells such as dendritic cells, B lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, and activated T lymphocytes, and may be induced on other cell types by interferon gamma.

Reconstitution: Add 1.0 mL of distilled water.

Target Information

HLA-DQ is a member of the HLA (human leukocyte antigen) class II family of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) surface proteins.
It is a heterodimeric protein consisting of an alpha (DQA) and a beta (DQB) chain, both membrane-anchored.
These molecules play a central role in the immune system by presenting extracellularly derived peptides to T cells.

MHC Class II molecules are expressed in antigen-presenting cells (APC: B lymphocytes, dendritic cells, macrophages).
Other human MHC class II molecules include HLA-DP, HLA-DM, HLA-DR, HLA-DOA, and HLA-DOB.
HLA-DQ exhibits significant variability, particularly in the beta subunit, influencing peptide binding and presentation.
Different DQ classes based on similar beta subunits form serotypes recognized by specific antibodies.

HLA and MHC antibodies are essential tools in immunopeptidomics, aiding in the identification and characterization of neoantigens via LC-MS/MS.
