Product Specific Information
A 1:1,000 dilution of PA5-77774 was sufficient for detection of Beclin 2 in rat liver lysates using Goat anti-rabbit IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
Predicted molecular weight: ~48.1 kDa.
Observed bands: 50–55 kDa range (varied by lysates).
Target Information
Beclin 2 is involved in two distinct lysosomal degradation pathways:
- Acts as a regulator of autophagy.
- Regulates turnover of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) via interaction with GPRASP1/GASP1.
