Sampling Accessories
The different bioPROBE versions can be adapted to your specific process or any other individual mounting situation with simple accessory parts. The material choice of the crucial core of automatic sampling — our exclusive sampling probe — as well as all other media contact disposable parts of the whole system, can be customized.
Sampling Probes
The bioPROBE System is based on patented sampling technology used under exclusive license from the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft.
During sampling, the sample material is covered with a sterile air bearing when extracted from the cultivation vessel and is then transferred through the probe and hose set to any collecting vessel.
All sampling probes and hose sets are produced under clean atmosphere and supplied pre-sterilized.
The probes do not require any steam supply to maintain sterile conditions. The internal sealing of the probe head prevents contamination with culture suspension and biofilm formation. The sampling spot cannot be blocked by biofilm, as any cell filtration for media measurements occurs after sampling.
