UBE2G1은 E2 유비퀴틴 결합 효소 패밀리에 속하며, 인간뿐 아니라 제브라피시, 개구리, 쥐, 마우스 등과 98–100%의 서열 유사성을 보여 고등 진핵생물에서 매우 보존된 효소입니다.
