Target Information
CD56 (NCAM, neural cell adhesion molecule)은 면역글로불린 패밀리에 속하는 막관통 당단백질로, 신경계 전반에 걸쳐 120–180 kDa의 다양한 동형체로 발현됩니다.
CD56은 T 세포 및 NK 세포에 존재하며, 세포 이동, 축삭 성장, 경로 탐색 및 시냅스 가소성에 관여합니다.
폴리시알산화는 CD56 매개 세포 부착을 감소시키며, CD56은 라미닌 및 인테그린과 같은 세포외 기질 구성요소와 상호 작용합니다.
CD56은 신경외배엽 유래 세포주, 조직 및 신생물(예: 망막모세포종, 수모세포종, 성상세포종, 신경모세포종 등)에서 발현됩니다.
또한 CD56은 신경내분비 종양 및 난소 과립막 세포 종양의 고감도 마커로 널리 사용됩니다.
CD56 기능 이상은 광견병 및 blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasms와 관련이 있습니다.
