Target Information
Profilin은 12–15 kDa 크기의 인지질 및 poly-L-proline 결합 단백질로, 신호전달 경로 및 액틴 필라멘트 역학에 관여합니다. 두 가지 형태의 mammalian profilin이 존재하며, Profilin I은 대부분의 조직에서 높게 발현되고, Profilin II는 주로 뇌에서 발현됩니다. Profilin은 주로 세포질 내에 존재하며, 세포막의 leading edge 및 ruffling membrane과 같은 동적 부위에서 높은 농도로 발견됩니다.
