Product Specific Information

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. Purity >95% (by SDS-PAGE).


Target Information

Syntrophin is an adapter protein that binds signaling molecules to the dystrophin-associated protein complex, linking the extracellular matrix to the intracellular cytoskeleton.
Microtubule-associated serine/threonine-protein kinase 2 (MAST205) is a testis-specific cytoplasmic protein involved in spermatid maturation and interaction with the dystrophin/utrophin network via Syntrophin.
MAST205 regulates IL-12 synthesis in macrophages by forming a complex with TRAF6, inhibiting TRAF6 NF-kappa-B activation.
Two isoforms exist due to alternative splicing: Isoform 1 (full length) and Isoform 2 (lacking residues 327–396 and 1091–1113).
Phosphorylation at the N-terminus enables ubiquitination and subsequent proteasome-mediated degradation.
