RC3H1 (Roquin)은 RING 타입 유비퀴틴 리가아제 단백질 패밀리에 속하는 고도로 보존된 단백질입니다. RC3H1의 M199R 돌연변이는 sanroque 생쥐에서 과도한 IL-21 생산과 높은 자가항체 역가를 유도하며, 여포성 보조 T 세포 및 생식 중심의 과다 형성을 초래합니다. RC3H1의 완전 결손은 조기 사망과 면역 조절 장애를 유발하지만 자가면역은 나타나지 않습니다. 이는 돌연변이 RC3H1이 결손보다 면역계에 더 큰 영향을 미침을 시사합니다.
