Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene interacts with MAP3K12/DLK, a kinase involved in apoptosis induction.
It contains a leucine zipper motif typical of transcription factors and shows strong transactivation activity when fused to the Gal4 DNA binding domain.
Overexpression of this gene interferes with MAP3K12-induced apoptosis.
