Target Information
MDM2 단백질은 p53 단백질 안정성의 주요 조절자입니다. MDMX는 MDM2 관련 단백질로, MDM2 매개 p53 분해를 억제하며 MDM2와의 독립적인 결합을 통해 작용합니다. MDMX(MDM4로도 알려짐)를 암 유전자로 증폭하는 경우가 악성 교모세포종에서 관찰됩니다. ARF는 MDMX를 핵소체 내에 격리시켜 p53 전사활성을 증가시킵니다. 또한, MDMX 발현은 MDM2에 의해 유도되는 p53 분해를 억제하면서 p53 전사활성을 억제 상태로 유지합니다. MDM2와 유사하게 MDMX는 p73에도 결합하여 p73의 안정성을 증가시킵니다.
