Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
UCK1 (Uridine-cytidine kinase 1) phosphorylates uridine and cytidine to form uridine monophosphate (UMP) and cytidine monophosphate (CMP).
It does not phosphorylate deoxyribonucleosides or purine ribonucleosides.
Can utilize ATP or GTP as a phosphate donor and also phosphorylates various cytidine and uridine analogs such as:
- 6-azauridine
- 5-fluorouridine
- 4-thiouridine
- 5-bromouridine
- N(4)-acetylcytidine
- N(4)-benzoylcytidine
- 5-fluorocytidine
- 2-thiocytidine
- 5-methylcytidine
- N(4)-anisoylcytidine
