Target Information
Cdc73 is a tumor suppressor probably involved in transcriptional and post-transcriptional control pathways. It is a component of the PAF1 complex, which includes Paf1, Cdc73, Leo1, Rtf1, and Ctr9. This complex interacts with RNA polymerase II and coordinates histone modification associated with active transcription. Cdc73 may also regulate cyclin D1/PRAD1 expression, influencing cell cycle progression.
