Target Information
ANKH is a multipass transmembrane protein expressed in joints and other tissues, controlling pyrophosphate levels in cultured cells. Progressive ankylosis-mediated control of pyrophosphate levels may regulate tissue calcification and susceptibility to arthritis in higher animals.
