Target Information

Vorsetuzumab is a biosimilar antibody that targets CD70. The CD70 protein is a cytokine belonging to the TNF ligand family and acts as a ligand for TNFRSF27/CD27. It is expressed on activated, but not resting, T and B lymphocytes. CD70 promotes proliferation of costimulated T cells, enhances cytolytic T-cell generation, and contributes to T-cell activation. It also plays a role in B-cell activation, NK cell cytotoxic function, and immunoglobulin synthesis.
