Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, B7-H1)은 B7 패밀리 단백질로, PD-1 수용체와 결합하여 T세포 수용체(TCR) 신호를 음성 조절합니다.
PD-L1 결합 시 TCR 매개 증식 및 사이토카인 생성을 감소시키며, 다양한 인간 및 생쥐 종양에서 높은 발현이 관찰됩니다.
또한 IFN-γ 자극 시 발현이 증가하며, 종양 면역회피에 중요한 역할을 할 수 있습니다.
