Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-28A, IL-29, or recombinant mouse IL-28 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
IL-28B encodes a cytokine distantly related to type I interferons and the IL-10 family. IL-28B, interleukin 28A (IL28A), and interleukin 29 (IL29) are three closely related cytokine genes that form a cluster on chromosome 19q13.
Expression of these cytokines can be induced by viral infection. All three interact with a heterodimeric class II cytokine receptor composed of IL10RB and IL28RA.
