Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to reach a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
LIMK1 is a serine/threonine kinase that regulates actin cytoskeletal dynamics via phosphorylation of cofilin and is implicated in brain development. LIM domains are cysteine-rich structures containing two zinc fingers, mediating protein-protein interactions. LIMK1 and LIMK2 form a subfamily with two N-terminal LIM motifs and a C-terminal kinase domain. LIMK1 hemizygosity is linked to visuospatial cognitive impairment in Williams syndrome.
