Target Information
This gene belongs to the hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase family. The encoded protein is similar to an enzyme that catalyzes the interconversion of inactive and active glucocorticoids (e.g., cortisone). Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
