Target Information
Francisella tularensis는 운동성이 없는 호기성 그람음성 구간균(coccobacillus)으로, 지질다당(LPS)을 포함한 얇은 외막을 가지고 있습니다.
이 균은 비포자형성(non-spore-forming) 세균으로, 물, 습한 토양, 건초, 짚, 부패한 동물 사체 등에서 낮은 온도에서도 수 주간 생존할 수 있습니다.
Francisella tularensis의 LPS는 종 특이적 항원으로, 다른 그람음성균의 LPS와 구조적으로 다릅니다.
Tularemia균의 LPS는 전형적인 내독소(endotoxin) 특성을 보이지 않으며, 이는 독성 성분인 lipid A의 비정형적 구조와 관련이 있을 수 있습니다.
