Target Information
This gene belongs to the XAGE subfamily of the GAGE family, which is expressed in various tumors and certain fetal and reproductive tissues.
It is strongly expressed in normal testis, Ewing’s sarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, breast cancer, and germ cell tumors.
The encoded protein shares sequence similarity with other GAGE/PAGE proteins and is classified as a CT (cancer-testis) antigen.
