Target Information
IEX-1은 방사선, 자외선 및 다양한 성장 인자(FAS, TNF-α 등)에 의해 유도되는 스트레스 반응 유전자입니다. 이 단백질은 상피, 내분비 조직 및 혈관 내피 등에서 널리 발현되며, 세포 성장, 사멸 및 종양 형성 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 p53, NF-κB/Rel, Sp1, c-Myc 등의 전사 인자에 의해 정밀하게 조절되어 다양한 스트레스 조건에서 빠르고 일시적으로 발현됩니다. IEX-1은 긴 형태(IEX1L)와 스플라이스 변이형(IEX1S)으로 존재하며, 핵 및 핵주위 영역에 위치합니다. 과발현 시 세포자멸사와 세포 주기 진행을 촉진하며, 발현 억제 시 이 과정이 감소합니다.
