For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Members of the human serpin family regulate a diverse array of serine and cysteine proteinases involved in essential biological processes such as fibrinolysis, coagulation, inflammation, cell mobility, cellular differentiation, and apoptosis.
Most serpins are secreted and reach physiologic concentrations in blood and extracellular fluids. However, a subset known as ov-serpins resides intracellularly.
SERPINB13 (also known as headpin) is a novel serpin underexpressed in squamous cell cancers of the oral cavity and is normally expressed in oral mucosa, skin, and cultured keratinocytes.
