ERLIN2 (also known as C8orf2 and SPFH2)는 ERLIN1/ERLIN2 복합체의 구성 요소로, 이 복합체는 이노시톨 1,4,5-트리스포스페이트 수용체(ITPR1)와 같은 IP3 수용체의 소포체 관련 분해(ERAD)를 매개합니다. 또한 HMGCR의 스테롤 가속화 ERAD를 촉진하며, 이는 AMFR/gp78 유비퀴틴 리가아제 복합체를 포함할 가능성이 있습니다. ERLIN2는 SREBP 신호 경로를 조절하여 세포 콜레스테롤 항상성 유지에 관여합니다. ERLIN1/ERLIN2 복합체의 분자량은 약 70 kDa입니다.
