Target Information
NDST4는 heparan sulfate의 글루코사민(GlcNAc) 잔기의 N-탈아세틸화 및 N-설페이션을 모두 촉매하는 이중 기능 효소입니다. GlcNAc-GlcA 이당류 반복 구조를 수정하여 N-sulfated heparosan을 생성하며, 이는 이후 heparin 생합성의 전구체로 작용합니다. 낮은 탈아세틸화 활성과 높은 설페이즈 활성을 가집니다.
