Thermo Fisher Scientific PrepFiler Spin Tubes and Filter Columns (Ethylene Oxide-Treated)

Applied Biosystems™ PrepFiler™ Spin Tubes and Filter Columns are available separately, providing ordering flexibility and allowing researchers to select only the plastic consumables needed for use with all PrepFiler forensic DNA extraction kits.

These kits use magnetic particles with optimized multi-component surface chemistry to deliver superior DNA yield from most forensic sample types, including body fluids, stains, and swabs.

PrepFiler Filter Columns are used for substrate removal, and PrepFiler Spin Tubes are used for sample processing in tube format. The packaged Spin Tubes and Filter Columns are treated with ethylene oxide for sterility.

PrepFiler forensic DNA extraction kits contain additional components required for DNA recovery from both routine and challenging samples, including removal of PCR inhibitors.
