This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates.

This antibody has specificity for Human ENO3/beta-enolase.

Target Information

This gene encodes one of the three enolase isoenzymes found in mammals. The ENO3 isoenzyme is primarily expressed in skeletal muscle cells and may play a role in muscle development and regeneration. During development, a switch from alpha enolase to beta enolase occurs in muscle tissue. Mutations in this gene are associated with glycogen storage disease. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
