The ProcartaPlex Non-Human Primate Cytokine/Chemokine/Growth Factor Panel, 37plex enables immune function research by analyzing 37 protein targets in a single well using Luminex xMAP technology. The panel consists of four modular sub-panels that allow for broad screening and targeted follow-up studies. Sub-panels are fully combinable with each other or with individual simplex assays.

ProcartaPlex preconfigured panels are rigorously validated for analyte combinability, interference, and cross-reactivity, ensuring high precision and reproducibility. All necessary reagents for the assay are included.

About ProcartaPlex Assays for the Luminex Platform

ProcartaPlex immunoassays are based on the sandwich ELISA principle, using two specific antibodies binding to distinct epitopes of one protein. This enables simultaneous quantitation of multiple targets using Luminex instruments.

Assay Principle

Luminex beads in the ProcartaPlex assay are internally dyed with precise ratios of red and infrared fluorophores, creating unique spectral signatures. Each bead is coated with a capture antibody specific to a target protein. Bound proteins are detected using biotinylated antibodies and streptavidin–R-phycoerythrin (RPE). The Luminex instrument uses dual-laser detection to identify bead signatures and quantify fluorescence intensity, which correlates with protein concentration.

Compared to traditional ELISA, ProcartaPlex assays are solution-based, enabling higher multiplexing capacity and reduced sample consumption within similar assay times.
