Target Information
Cardiac Troponin I (Cardiac-specific troponin I, TnI, Troponin I)는 심근 수축 조절에 필수적인 억제 단백질로, troponin C (TnC), troponin T (TnT)와 복합체를 형성합니다.
TnT는 tropomyosin과 결합해 troponin-tropomyosin 복합체를 형성하고, TnI는 actin과 결합하여 근육의 얇은 필라멘트 내에서 구조적 안정성을 제공합니다.
칼슘이 TnC에 결합하면 TnI의 억제 부위가 actin에서 해제되어 myosin이 결합할 수 있게 되어 근육 수축이 일어납니다.
혈중 TnI 및 TnT 수치는 심근 손상의 진단 지표로 사용되며, 협심증과 심근경색을 구분하는 데 도움을 줍니다. 또한 Cardiac Troponin I는 in vivo 및 in vitro에서 혈관신생 억제 기능을 나타내며, 유전자 변이는 가족성 비후성 심근병증(CMH7) 및 제한성 심근병증(RCM)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
