Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed in host cells. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Ezrin is a cytoplasmic peripheral membrane protein functioning as a protein-tyrosine kinase substrate in microvilli. As a member of the ERM protein family, it acts as a linker between the plasma membrane and the actin cytoskeleton. Ezrin plays a critical role in cell surface structure adhesion, migration, and organization, and has been implicated in various human cancers. A pseudogene on chromosome 3 and alternatively spliced variants have been identified.
