Target Information
M6PR is a receptor for mannose-6-phosphate groups on lysosomal enzymes. It forms homodimers or homotetramers for intracellular targeting of lysosomal enzymes and export of newly synthesized lysosomal enzymes into cell secretions. M6PR is an integral membrane protein localized to the trans-Golgi reticulum, endosomes, and plasma membrane.
