Target Information
DjC9 (DnaJ subfamily C member 9) belongs to the Hsp40 (heat shock protein 40) family, which acts as co-chaperones to Hsp70.
Hsp40 proteins are classified into three subfamilies (A, B, and C) based on domain structure.
DjC9 is part of subfamily C and contains only the J-domain, which interacts with HSP70 and activates its ATPase activity.
