Target Information
SOX17 (transcription factor SOX-17)은 SRY-related HMG box family에 속하는 전사 인자입니다.
이 단백질은 표적 프로모터 DNA에 결합하여 DNA를 굽히고, 5'-AACAAT-3' 또는 5'-AACAAAG-3' 서열을 인식합니다.
SOX17은 WNT3A를 통한 전사 조절을 매개하며 Wnt 신호를 억제하고, 활성화된 CTNNB1의 분해를 촉진합니다.
배아 발생 조절에 필수적인 역할을 하며, 심장관의 정상 루핑 및 장내배엽 발달에 필요합니다.
유전자 변이는 방광요관 역류(vesicoureteral reflux)를 유발할 수 있습니다.
