This antibody detects endogenous levels of CDC5L only when phosphorylated at Tyr232.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene shares significant similarity with the Schizosaccharomyces pombe cdc5 gene product, a cell cycle regulator important for G2/M transition. CDC5L acts as a positive regulator of cell cycle G2/M progression and is an essential component of a non-snRNA spliceosome complex required for the second catalytic step of pre-mRNA splicing.
