Target Information
ALG2는 glycosyltransferase 1 패밀리에 속하는 단백질로, α-1,3 mannosyltransferase 활성을 가진다.
Man(2)GlcNAc(2)-dolichol diphosphate 및 Man(1)GlcNAc(2)-dolichol diphosphate를 mannosylation하여 Man(3)GlcNAc(2)-dolichol diphosphate를 형성한다.
이 유전자의 결함은 선천성 당화 장애(CDG-Ii)와 관련이 있다.
