Target Information
Profilin은 세포 내에서 작고(12–15 kDa) 인산이노시티드 및 poly-L-proline 결합 단백질로, 신호전달 경로와 액틴 필라멘트 역학 모두에 관여합니다. 포유류에는 두 가지 형태의 Profilin이 있으며, Profilin I은 대부분의 조직에서 높게 발현되고 골격근에서는 낮습니다. Profilin II는 주로 뇌에서 발현되며, 골격근, 자궁, 신장에서는 낮은 수준으로 존재합니다. Profilin은 주로 세포질에 존재하며, 세포막의 동적 영역(leading edge, ruffling membranes)에 높은 농도로 분포합니다.
