Target Information
SERPINB5 (Maspin) is a tumor suppressor protein that inhibits growth, invasion, and metastasis of mammary tumors. It does not undergo the S (stressed) to R (relaxed) conformational transition typical of active serpins, and therefore has no serine protease inhibitory activity.
