Product Specific Information

• Concentration may vary slightly from lot to lot; refer to lot-specific datasheet for exact concentration.
• Product #31450 has been successfully used in Western blot and ICC applications.
• Antibody Specificity: Reacts with heavy chains of mouse IgG and light chains common to most mouse immunoglobulins. No antibody detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. Cross-reactivity with immunoglobulins from other species may occur.
• Restoration and Storage:
  • Store at 4°C until opened.
  • Restore with 1.5 mL distilled water (final concentration 0.8 mg/mL).
  • Centrifuge if not clear after standing 1–2 hours at room temperature.
  • Store undiluted liquid for several weeks at 4°C.
  • After dilution, use within one day.
  • To extend shelf life, add equal volume of glycerol (final 50%) and store at -20°C.

Target Information

Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity via signal amplification, allowing use with HRP, AP, or fluorescent detection systems.
Typically generated by immunizing a host animal with pooled mouse immunoglobulins and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, conjugation) for high specificity.
