Target Information
Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target.
Secondary antibodies offer versatility for multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and provide greater sensitivity via signal amplification as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, they are generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) for high specificity.
